In response to Governor Larry Hogan’s call for 6,000 new hospital beds to ensure Maryland is prepared and ready to treat a potential surge in patients with COVID-19, the University of Maryland Medical System is putting together an Emergency Staffing Pool, a Temporary Per Diem/PRN float pool that will deploy resources to all 16-member hospitals in the medical system as well as the Federal Medical Station located at the Baltimore Convention Center, and other pop-up medical care facilities in the area. Whether you’re new to healthcare, experienced or anywhere in between your skills may be needed. If you have nursing experience or clinical skills you can help defend your community. Click on the following link for opportunities and further information.
