Posted over 3 years ago

You are appreciated by so many for all that you do. During Nurses Week enjoy some freebies and discounts from companies who care.

Don't forget to click here and RSVP for MNA's Zoom Tea Party Saturday in celebration of each of you!

  • Chipotle: Nurses and health care workers can receive a free entree (while supplies last) by verifying their identity here. Chipotle is giving 250,000 entrees, so sign up while supplies last. Your free entree code will expire on May 31.
  • Dunkin’: On May 6, nurses can show their ID and get a free medium hot or iced coffee, no purchase required. This Nurses Day freebie is available at participating Dunkin’ locations while supplies last. Learn more.
  • EVO Entertainment: The regional theater chain is offering free movies for nurses May 6 to 12.
  • Jimmy John’s: This one’s not just for nurses, but the timing of this deal is perfect for Nurse Week. May 3 through June 13, use promo code 5OFF20 when ordering online to get $5 off orders of $20 or more.
  • McAlister’s Deli: All nurses who visit between May 3 and May 7 and show their badge/ID will get a free tea. Have a special nurse in your life? You can nominate them here. All nominees will receive a reward code for a free tea and be entered for a chance to win free catering for them and their work family.
  • Mrs. Fields: Mrs. Fields is offering a line of cookie tins for nurses and medical professionals in honor of Nurses Week 2021. Check out your options here — and look for discounts during Nurse Week.
  • Crocs Giving Nurses Free Shoes: If you are in demand for a pair of comfy slip-on shoes, Crocs has your back.  Crocs set a daily limit of 10,000 free shoes each day. They set up a virtual queue each day at noon ET at this link. So if you have a couple minutes during lunch tomorrow, stop by their site and request your free pair today!
  • Outback Steakhouse Providing Discounts to Nurses: After a 12-hour shift, the last thing a nurse wants to do is labor in the kitchen for a meal. Thankfully, with the Heroes Discount at Outback Steakhouse, nurses among other heroes in our community get 10% off their entire check all day, every day. All you need is a valid medical ID.

Thank You Messages from the community:

“Thank you for putting yourself on the front line.”

“We greatly appreciate your service.”

“May God bless you and keep you safe.”

“We need you.”

“Thank you for all your hours of hard work and devoted labor.”

“We are so proud of you.”

“You have dedicated your lives in the medical field and helping others. We are so very grateful for that choice.”

“Praying for your safety and protection as you do your job helping others.”

“Thank you for going beyond the call of duty.”

“You are the glue that keeps us together.”

“We are forever thankful for your unselfishness.”

“Words can’t express my gratefulness, but my heart can.”

“Thank you for going into sometimes unknown territory and risking your lives for our health.”

“You’ll be in our hearts forever.”

“Your dedication and expertise is incredible.”

“I admire your courage.”

“You are our angels in scrubs.”

“You are my heroes!”

“Thank you for taking care of us and keeping us safe.”

“We pray for you to come through safely and to be with your families who also need you now. Know that you are being prayed for every day by millions of people.”

“You touch lives with care in all that you do.”

“You have a heart of gold.”

“Thank all of you who are working night and day to help our patients.”

“You guys are awesome, you’re the true heroes on the front lines. God bless you all. Thanks for all you do. We love you!”

“We owe all of you so much.”

“Thank you for risking your lives to save ours.”

“Much respect and gratefulness for what you do. Praying for God’s protection as you perform your selfless acts of love and caring.”

“You all work long and hard hours and you clock in and sometimes don’t clock back out. Long shifts and you see the sun come up and the moon rise. You all see all kinds of hard things and some good. You are full of emotions yourselves but somehow you keep a straight face in the public eye. Y’all are like Marines, first to be called out and the last to come in once the mission is over. You see life and death everyday. So I totally agree to support all medical responders. Especially our nurses all over the world.”

“You all are amazing and wonderful in your jobs. Without you doing your job each and every day so many people would suffer unimaginable pain. You give of yourself freely, with love, and kindness to complete strangers that you will probably never see again, but you do touch each and every patient along with their families.”
