Meeting with National Council of State Boards (NCSBN) to discuss the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Compact (APRN) for Maryland

Greetings Colleagues,

The MNA legislative committee has agreed to meet and listen to information from the National Council of State Boards (NCSBN) regarding an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Compact (APRN) for Maryland. We have contacted them, and they have agreed to meet with MNA on Monday, January 17th at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is to provide information regarding their position on the need for an APRN compact. Although this is short notice, the legislative committee invites all nurses that would like to participate in this meeting to attend. However, we want to encourage all APRN’s and especially, all members of the MNA legislative committee to hear this information firsthand. We sincerely hope that you will be able to attend.
