Posted over 3 years ago
The Maryland Nurses Association (MNA)’s Legislative Committee has been busy reviewing an influx of healthcare bills introduced during this year’s Maryland General Assembly. Many are in response to the pandemic and the nursing workforce shortage.
Our Lawmakers need your input. Join us on at 5PM on Monday, February 21st for MNA’s Annual Nurses’ Legislative Night Out. Due to the pandemic restrictions in Annapolis, this year’s event will be virtual and will include recognition of MNA’s Legislators of the Year, an overview of key 2022 healthcare legislation, and suggested talking points. The virtual meetings will end with virtual meetings with state legislators, encouraging your voice as a professional nurse to be heard.
