Happy New Year Message from MNA President Lou Bartolo

Greetings,

Happy New Year’s Day!

It's hard to believe 2024 is here. I hope you celebrate the new year knowing that not only the nursing profession is important to all of us, but your health and well-being is incredibly important to all of us at the Maryland Nurses Association (MNA).

MNA’s just celebrated its 121st anniversary of service in December 2023! Continuing the service to nurses across the beautiful state of Maryland, I am grateful to all our dedicated members, advocates, and friends like you.

In 2023, MNA was proud to engage in a wide range of educational and advocacy activities. The year ahead has many more new initiatives at MNA as we are working on ways to help advance nurses in the profession.  We will continue to recognize our members for their hard work they provide to the communities throughout Maryland.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for championing the nursing profession and supporting MNA during 2023.  Please continue the support MNA in 2024 as we continue to work for you and all our nurses creating a brighter future for the profession.
