Passing of Douglas Parker, Beloved Husband of Sadie Parker

Dear Members of the Maryland Nurses Association,
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Douglas “Doug” Parker, the beloved husband of our long-time esteemed member, board member and the Nursing Foundation of Maryland President, Sadie Parker. Doug peacefully departed from this world early this morning, surrounded by his loving wife.
Doug was known for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for Sadie, MNA, and NFM. During this time of grief, we ask that you keep Sadie and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Let us surround Sadie with love and support as she navigates through this difficult journey of mourning and remembrance.
Details regarding funeral arrangements to honor Doug will be communicated once they are finalized. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to offer your condolences and support to Sadie during this time.
