Posted about 2 months ago in CEHR

The Maryland Nurses Association of Maryland is seeking a Chairperson for the Center for Ethics and Human Rights (CEHR). The CEHR provides a forum to foster high standards of nursing practice, advocate for the improvement of health for all people, and serve as a resource for all Maryland Registered Nurses in ethical decision-making. The CEHR currently consists of six ethics experts who want to continue working together.

The CEHR has several projects under consideration including a convention presentation for 2025 and a project involving nursing students in some type of written ethics competition. The CEHR focuses on education and, if accepted, you will have the opportunity to lead the CEHR in developing their focus and projects.

The chairperson candidate must be a member of the Maryland Nurses Association. If you are interested, submit a brief essay on your qualifications for this important leadership position and your curriculum vitae. Kindly direct your questions and submissions to Barb Biedrzycki, Interim Executive Director of MNA at MNAINfo@MarylandRN.org with subject heading "CEHR Chairperson".
