2024 MNA Election Participation Percentage

As members of a membership organization, like the Maryland Nurses Association (MNA), we have two fundamental rights: electing MNA and District leaders annually and establishing our highest governing documents which are the MNA Bylaws and the District Bylaws.

Below you will find the election statistics thus far. The numerator of the fraction is the number who have voted; the denominator is the number of eligible voters. The percentage is those eligible voters who have participated as of  August 15, 2024.  I am pleased to share that the number of voters continues to increase. It is my hope that this trend will continue so we can reach our goal.

MNA = 237 /4420 = 5.4%

D1 = 4/41 = 9.8%

D2 = 86/1612 = 5.3%

D3 =  14/439 =3.2%

D4 =  15/214 = 7.0 %

D5 = 71/347 =5.3%

D7 = 16/296 =5.4%

D8 = 9/253 = 3.6%

D9 = 20/208 = 9.6%

MNA needs your vote! Please get engaged in MNA by voting for your MNA and District leaders; it is both an important right and responsibility as a member. As a reminder. The District with the highest voter participation rate at the end of the election is eligible for a free one year membership.
