ANA and the International Council of Nurses (ICN) along with the UC Irvine Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and the Yale School of Nursing invite you to join us for the upcoming webinar, "The Challenges of Providing Care in Conflict” on September 18 at 9am PT/ 12p ET/ 6p Central European Time.

This webinar will discuss the impact of conflict and crises on nurses and communities, and what we as a nursing community can do to help. Register today to secure your spot.

ANA stands in solidarity with our partners at ICN under the leadership of Past ANA President Dr. Pamela Cipriano. We have publicly denounced all forms of cultural and religious discrimination and affirmed our commitment to the globally nursing community during humanitarian crises. As such, our participating in this webinar demonstrates the following:

    • Conveys deep concern for the sheer loss of life and terror gripping the lives of civilians as well as all other communities globally experiencing humanitarian crises.
    • Brings awareness to the current magnitude of ongoing violence that is causing great burden to hospitals, overwhelming health care professionals and exacerbating the severe lack of resources needed to care for victims and patients.
    • Underscores ANA’s urgent call for all parties, leaders, and policymakers to respect and consider the legal obligations of international humanitarian law to protect access to care for civilians and health care workers who are risking their lives to provide essential care.
