Dr. Barbara Biedrzycki is the MNA Executive Director

The MNA Board of Directors has appointed Barbara A. Biedrzycki, MSN, PhD, RN, CRNP to the position of Executive Director. Dr. Biedrzycki served as MNA's Interim Executive Director throughout 2024. Before serving MNA at the state level, she served in multiple leadership roles for MNA in District 7, located in Cecil and Harford Counties, as well as for the Nursing Foundation of Maryland.

     The Board recognizes that Dr. Biedrzycki has done an outstanding job, whether implementing policy, enhancing office efficiency, or promoting member service. She is a mission- motivated Maryland RN and MNA member, from receiving her Associate Degree in Nursing at Baltimore City Community College to earning her Doctoral degree at the Johns Hopkins University. School of Nursing.

     Dr. Biedrzycki worked at Johns Hopkins as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with a Certification in Oncology, and in various supervisory, educational, and clinical research positions. She has received numerous awards, authored multiple publications, and served as guest editor of the Maryland Nurse. 

      We are pleased that Dr. Biedrzycki will continue working at MNA for all Maryland nurses and our patients.
